Jim runs the third-generation family business his father and uncle founded in 1986 as Dodson Brothers Construction, back when JDH was one pickup truck, a set of hand tools, and a reputation. He renamed the company JDH Remodeling, initials for his three children J.J., Dallas, and Hayden. He walks every roof his team quotes personally, using the PCC Method (Problem, Cause, Consequence), the forensic standard he was trained to under HAAG.
He holds the highest individual credential in the industry, HAAG Master Level, one of fewer than 200 inspectors nationally. Every JDH inspection is held to that standard. When Jim tells a homeowner their roof has five more good years and does not need to be replaced, that is the honest answer, not a sales pitch. The rule he runs the company on is the rule his father set in 1986: we only do work we can put our name on.
