Sam, my salesperson, was so professional and kind. I had an appointment also set with another company today but cancelled it and went with JDH based on him and Brian. Both were just very impressive — I felt those were the type of people I want to associate with!
Wonderful service by Tom Raley. He took the time to kindly explain every aspect of his company's services, including their specific initiatives to support local charities and community projects, which I found truly inspiring. I sincerely appreciate his thoroughness.
Matt and Sam came out to look at a few small siding projects I needed done. Rather than trying to upsell me on having to completely redo the side of my house, they were able to help me find the product I needed so I could complete it myself. I greatly appreciated their honesty.

Back in September 2025, Matt from JDH came by to give us a quote for the replacement of our three entry doors. We ended up agreeing to install a main entry door with side panels and a storm door. The whole process from initial consult through install was excellent.
What a great company JDH Remodeling is and the quality of service they provide. I had basement windows installed and they were amazing to work with from start to finish. My windows were the old hopper style and I was worried it would be hard to install them in the same opening — JDH handled it perfectly.
We had a hole in our roof. I contacted JDH. Joey did a great job inspecting our roof and said we only needed to patch that area. He did notice some issues with our gutters, so we replaced them. They did a great job. No mess left behind. Steve was great to work with too.
JDH installed a new roof and basement entry door at my residence. The level of service from Matt, Senior Inspector, was excellent. Matt video-taped his inspection as he walked the roof — every finding documented, every recommendation explained.

We Don't Run from Our Mistakes. We Run Toward Them.
We don't pride ourselves on being perfect. We pride ourselves on how we handle the mistakes. Across all 404 Google reviews, 10 were 1-2★. Six are from non-customers — people we have no record of in our system. Here's what happened with the four that were real.
"They left a big mess in my yard, leaving old roof debris."
What happened: Roof was installed during a snow event, which made same-day final cleanup difficult. When we returned within the week to complete the cleanup, the customer was out of town and the gate was locked. As soon as they returned and contacted us, we came back and completed the cleanup. We always aim to leave every property clean and safe.
"JDH suggested putting asphalt shingles on a roof with a 1.5/12 pitch."
What happened: Our quote actually proposed metal roofing on the low-pitch sections paired with specialized underlayment, and asphalt shingles only on the steep-pitch portions. We covered a lot of ground in the consult and should have walked through each option more clearly. That's on us.
"Estimator missed appointment. Asked 3 more times over 2 weeks for quote — never received."
What happened: Jim (the owner) personally responded. The missed appointment was on us. We did leave a voicemail asking for additional photos to finalize an accurate estimate on the 12×24 shed (pitch, layers, decking, access vary on sheds), but we should have followed up better and sooner.
The other six 1-2★ reviews are from individuals with no record in our customer database. Each carries a written response asking the reviewer to contact us directly so we can resolve any actual issue.
